Summary
This study aimed to understand how patients and clinic staff feel about using long-acting injectable medications to treat both HIV and opioid use disorder together. Researchers planned to enroll 30 patients and 5-10 staff, giving patients the combined injections and following up for 6 months. The goal was to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
