NCT ID NCT06859723
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how smoking high-potency cannabis affects pain relief, feelings of being high, and drug levels in the blood. Researchers will test 30 near-daily cannabis users who are not seeking treatment. Participants will smoke either placebo, low-dose, or high-dose THC cannabis, both during normal use and after a short break from cannabis.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could help understand how high-potency cannabis affects pain and abuse potential, informing safer use guidelines.
