First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested a type of internal radiation called high-dose brachytherapy in 43 people with cervical, endometrial, esophageal, prostate, or biliary cancer. The goal was to see if the radiation implants could be placed accurately to deliver a high dose directly to the tumor. Participants received the treatment alongside their standard care and were followed for one year to check for side effects and tumor response.
