First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at 300 adults in Asia who had a heart ablation for atrial fibrillation. It compares giving the blood thinner heparin as a steady drip versus as occasional shots. The goal is to see which method keeps blood clotting time in the ideal range (250-350 seconds) to reduce the risk of clots or bleeding during the procedure.
