First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested whether using a non-invasive device (ClearSight) to monitor blood flow and guide fluid management during colorectal surgery could lower the chance of complications. 160 adults having colorectal surgery for polyps, cancer, or Crohn's disease took part. The approach aims to improve recovery by keeping the body's fluids balanced during the operation.
