Summary
This study looked back at medical records of 18 intensive care patients who received hydroxocobalamin (a form of vitamin B12) for severe vasodilatory shock, a condition where blood vessels widen too much and blood pressure drops dangerously. The goal was to see if the treatment could raise blood pressure enough to reduce the need for other medications. The study was completed and focused on measuring blood pressure changes after the drug was given.
