First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a program for adults who take opioids for chronic pain before surgery. The program includes pain education, therapy, and a mobile app to help patients reduce opioid use and manage pain better after surgery. Researchers will compare how many patients successfully stop opioids and how much pain interferes with daily life between those in the program and those receiving usual care.
