First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study compares two radiation therapy schedules for men with prostate cancer. One group receives a shorter, higher-dose course (5 sessions), while the other gets the standard longer course (26 sessions). The goal is to see if the shorter treatment is just as effective at controlling cancer over four years. 161 men participated in this trial at the University of Miami.
