Heart surgery alert: blood pressure dips linked to brain fog and kidney trouble
NCT ID NCT07510711
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study watches 120 adults having heart surgery to see if drops in blood pressure and brain oxygen levels during the operation can predict confusion, memory issues, or kidney injury afterward. Researchers will track standard monitors already used in surgery and check patients' thinking and organ function before and after. The goal is to find better ways to identify who might need extra care to avoid complications.
