Are hospitals following the rules to prevent another heart attack?
NCT ID NCT06450561
Summary
This study checked how well hospitals followed official guidelines for preventing future heart problems in patients who were just hospitalized for a heart attack, stroke, or other cardiovascular event. Researchers looked at the medical records of 129 patients to see if they were prescribed the recommended cholesterol-lowering medications when they were discharged. The goal was to measure the gap between recommended care and the care patients actually received.
