Massive heart scan study aims to predict patient survival
NCT ID NCT03749343
Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of heart scan, called T1 mapping, can accurately detect heart disease and predict patient outcomes like survival and hospitalization. It will enroll 8,000 adults who are already scheduled for a heart scan for medical reasons. The goal is to gather evidence on whether this scan can be a useful tool for doctors to better understand and manage heart conditions.
