New screening hunt for silent heart failure in diabetics

NCT ID NCT05705869

Summary

This study is testing a specific screening method to find undiagnosed heart failure in people with diabetes who are at high risk. About 700 participants are being randomly assigned to either receive this new screening or continue with their usual care. The screening involves a blood test and, if needed, heart scans to detect heart failure early so it can be treated.
