Smart foot scanner aims to keep heart patients out of hospital
NCT ID NCT07067658
Summary
This UK study is testing whether a new home device can help people with heart failure stay healthier and avoid hospital visits. The device takes daily 3D pictures of the feet to spot early signs of fluid build-up, a common problem that can lead to serious complications. About 300 participants will either use this device along with their normal care or receive normal care alone to see if the extra monitoring makes a difference.
