NCT ID NCT07451457
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether a structured education program helps heart failure patients understand their condition and practice self-care. About 1000 adults hospitalized for heart failure will take part. They attend a one-hour interactive session led by doctors and nurses, then complete questionnaires before, after, and up to a year later to measure knowledge and self-care habits.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
structured patient education programme
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that a simple education program helps heart failure patients better manage their condition and reduce hospital visits.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It measures knowledge and self-care, not direct health outcomes. Results may not apply to all heart failure patients.
