Summary
This study aims to understand why people with type 2 diabetes are more likely to develop heart failure. Researchers will observe 500 participants with heart failure, some with and some without diabetes, to see how their heart cells produce energy. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better future tests and treatments for diabetic heart disease.
