NCT ID NCT07460531
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study follows 2,000 people with chronic heart failure to see how their physical activity levels relate to hospitalizations and survival. Participants wear a pedometer or smartwatch and answer activity questionnaires every six months. No new treatment is given—the goal is simply to learn more about the link between activity and heart health.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could help doctors understand how daily activity levels affect heart failure outcomes, potentially guiding future care recommendations.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It cannot prove cause and effect, and results may not apply to all heart failure patients.
