NCT ID NCT06526702

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at how certain heart-related proteins (cardiac biomarkers) change in the blood of 26 people with end-stage kidney disease during two types of dialysis: standard hemodialysis and a more advanced method called hemodiafiltration. The goal was to measure these proteins before, during, and after treatment to see how they are affected by the dialysis process. No new treatment was tested; the aim was simply to gather knowledge about these biomarkers in dialysis patients.
