Heart attack mystery: imaging study aims to uncover hidden causes

Summary

This study looks at 450 people who had a heart attack but no major blockages in their heart arteries (called MINOCA). Using advanced imaging, researchers aim to find the real cause, such as plaque disruption or artery tears. Participants are followed every 6 months for up to 10 years to track future health events.
