First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a detailed heart CT scan can help doctors better prevent heart disease in prostate cancer patients who are on or about to start hormone therapy. About 100 participants will either get the scan or standard care. The goal is to see if the scan finds hidden artery problems and allows earlier treatment with medications like statins or aspirin.
