Could this drug save cancer Patients' hearing?

NCT ID NCT07407582

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called Pedmark® can protect hearing in adults receiving cisplatin chemotherapy, a common cancer treatment that often causes permanent hearing loss. The drug is already approved for children, but this trial will see if it's safe and effective for adults with solid tumors like testicular, head and neck, or lung cancer. Researchers will give the drug intravenously alongside standard cisplatin treatment and measure hearing changes over time.
