NCT ID NCT07288463

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether over-the-counter hearing aids are a practical option for older adults with mild to moderate hearing loss who may be at risk for dementia. Forty people aged 50 and older will either use the hearing aids right away or wait three months. The goal is to see if people will use them regularly and find them helpful, which could lead to larger studies on hearing and brain health.
