Nurse-Led classes aim to ease anxiety in ostomy patients

Summary
This study looks at whether health education from nurses can improve quality of life and reduce anxiety and depression in people who have a stoma after digestive surgery. About 70 adult patients with a permanent or long-term ostomy will take part. They will attend workshops and receive follow-up care to see if the education helps them cope better.
