Summary

This study looks at whether health education from nurses can improve quality of life and reduce anxiety and depression in people who have a stoma after digestive surgery. About 70 adult patients with a permanent or long-term ostomy will take part. They will attend workshops and receive follow-up care to see if the education helps them cope better.
