New drug combo aims to spare cancer patients from disfiguring surgery
NCT ID NCT07209189
Summary
This study is testing a new approach for people with advanced head and neck cancer. The goal is to see if giving a combination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy *before* surgery can shrink tumors enough to allow surgeons to perform less extensive operations. This could help preserve patients' ability to speak, swallow, and see, while still aiming for a cure.
