First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a single 30-minute IV infusion of HBI 3000 in 150 adults aged 18–80 who have had atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) for 2 to 72 hours. The goal is to see if the drug can safely and quickly convert the heart back to normal rhythm. The trial first finds the best dose in an open-label phase, then compares two doses against a placebo in a blinded phase.
