Teen stomach bug treatment could slash cancer risk in chile

Summary
This study aims to see if finding and treating H. pylori infection in teenagers can reduce their future risk of stomach cancer. About 500 teens in Chile will be screened, and those with persistent infection will be randomly assigned to receive antibiotics or no treatment. Researchers will check if the treatment clears the infection and lowers signs of stomach damage.
