NCT ID NCT07434089

First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how different types of treadmill training affect the gut bacteria and walking ability in people with Parkinson's disease. Sixty participants will be split into three groups: standard physical therapy, treadmill training without virtual reality, and treadmill training with virtual reality. Researchers will collect stool and blood samples and test movement at the start, after 21 days, and again 3 months later to see if the training changes gut microbes or improves symptoms.
