Diet over pills: new study tests food as reflux remedy
NCT ID NCT04360252
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether the Gracie Diet can reduce symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults who want to stop taking standard acid-reducing drugs. About 30 participants will stop their medication and follow the diet for 8 weeks. Researchers will track symptom changes and quality of life to see if diet alone can manage the condition.
