First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a drug called goserelin acetate, which temporarily stops menstruation, can reduce fat buildup in the liver of women with endometriosis. The drug creates a short-term menopause-like state. Researchers will measure liver fat and stiffness using ultrasound. The study involves 62 women and aims to see if this approach helps control both endometriosis and fatty liver disease.
