First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how a person's genetic makeup influences their body's response to oral semaglutide, a drug used for type 2 diabetes. Researchers will give 125 adults with prediabetes the drug for two weeks and measure blood sugar, insulin, and other factors after a test meal. The goal is to better understand why the drug works differently in different people, not to treat or cure the condition.
