New study aims to decode why some brain tumors resist electric field therapy
NCT ID NCT06222138
First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study will collect blood and tumor samples from 80 people with newly diagnosed glioblastoma to look for biological markers that predict how the tumor responds to TTFields (electric field therapy). Participants will receive standard treatment plus TTFields, and samples will be taken before, during, and after therapy. The goal is to understand resistance and sensitivity to TTFields, not to test the device itself.
