First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will test whether taking ginger supplements for two months can lower inflammation and oxidative stress in people with coronary artery disease. Fifty adults with confirmed heart disease will be randomly assigned to receive either ginger extract or a placebo. Researchers will measure changes in blood markers of inflammation to see if ginger has a beneficial effect.
