First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized care plan, based on a geriatric assessment, can reduce severe side effects in older adults (65+) starting chemotherapy for common cancers. Participants are randomly assigned to receive the assessment-driven plan plus usual care, or usual care alone. The goal is to see if this approach lowers the risk of serious toxicities, hospital visits, and treatment disruptions.
