Education boosts genetic testing in black prostate cancer patients

Summary

This pilot study aims to see if a brief educational session can increase the number of Black men with aggressive prostate cancer who complete genetic testing. Researchers will enroll 50 men who identify as Black or multiracial and have high-risk prostate cancer. Participants will attend an education session and then be offered a commercial genetic test. The main goal is to measure how many men actually get tested after the session.
