Summary
This study looks at how certain genes influence the activity of immune cells in the brain, called microglia, in people with Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will use a special PET scan to measure these cells in about 107 older adults, some with mild memory problems or Alzheimer's and some healthy. The goal is to find which gene variants cause microglial activation, which may help understand how Alzheimer's progresses.
