NCT ID NCT05577988

First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether a quick genetic test can help doctors choose a safer blood thinner for people who have had a heart attack. About 2,468 participants at high risk of bleeding will either get a standard strong blood thinner or a milder one chosen based on their genes. The goal is to see if the genetic approach reduces bleeding problems while still preventing another heart attack.
