Summary

This study is creating a registry of 250 people with symptoms of gastroparesis or functional dyspepsia, such as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Participants will fill out questionnaires, take a nutrient drink test, and have a gastric emptying scan. The goal is to collect data to better understand these conditions and how they change over 48 weeks.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only โ€” not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to
If successful, this registry could provide better understanding of gastroparesis and functional dyspepsia, potentially guiding future treatments.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It will not directly test any new therapy, so benefits for participants are limited to knowledge gained.
