Neurology training gets a game overhaul: blockchain badges and wristbands tested

NCT ID NCT07419984

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a gamified teaching method—using team challenges, points, and digital badges—helps neurology residents learn and remember more than traditional lectures. About 240 residents will try both formats, wearing wristbands that track stress and attention. Researchers will compare test scores and decision-making efficiency to see if the game-based approach works better.
