First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether temporarily blinding the team leader during simulated medical emergencies improves how the team works together. Fifty-four experienced medical professionals will be randomly assigned to have their leader wear a visual deprivation mask or not. Team performance is measured right after and again three months later using a validated scoring tool.
