Diet and exercise may boost GLP-1 drug success in diabetic women

NCT ID NCT07027995

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a 24-week program of healthy eating and exercise helps post-menopausal women with type 2 diabetes and heart-kidney problems stick to their new GLP-1 medication. Researchers will track how many women stop taking the drug and measure changes in heart disease risk. The goal is to see if lifestyle support can improve long-term disease control.
