Sound waves against addiction: new ultrasound trial for opioid use

Summary
This study tests whether low intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) can safely help people with opioid or other substance use disorders. About 29 adults currently in treatment will receive the ultrasound procedure. The main goal is to check for side effects and see if the treatment is well tolerated.
