Summary

This study is testing whether giving high-dose radiation only to the tumor area (focal HDR brachytherapy) can control early-stage prostate cancer while causing fewer side effects than treating the whole gland. Sixty men with low- or favorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer will receive this targeted radiation. The main goal is to see if the cancer stays under control, while also checking for improvements in urinary, bowel, and sexual function.
