First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tests a fluorescent dye called AS1986NS that may help doctors see prostate cancer cells during a biopsy. Ten men with suspected prostate cancer will receive a tiny dose of the dye before their standard biopsy. The main goal is to check if the dye is safe and to see if it can make cancer cells glow, potentially improving biopsy accuracy.
