NCT ID NCT01305161

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether a blood test called flow cytometry can accurately diagnose allergic reactions to muscle relaxants given during anesthesia. Researchers tested 129 adults who had a suspected allergic reaction during a past surgery. The goal was to see if the test could identify which specific drug caused the allergy and help doctors choose a safer option for future procedures.
