Summary

This study tests whether the drug finerenone can slow kidney function decline and lower heart failure risk in 120 adults with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. Participants must already be on standard blood pressure medications. The study will measure changes in kidney function, heart failure events, and safety issues like high potassium levels.
