Summary
This study tests whether the drug finerenone can slow kidney function decline and lower the risk of heart failure in 120 adults with diabetic kidney disease. Participants must have type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease, and be on stable blood pressure medication. The study will track kidney function, heart failure events, and safety issues like high potassium levels.
