First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding tizanidine to the standard drug pregabalin can better relieve pain in people with fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia causes widespread pain, fatigue, and emotional distress, and current treatments often provide only modest relief. The trial will enroll 164 adults aged 18-65 who have daily pain, and compare the combination therapy to pregabalin alone over 12 weeks.
