First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will test a computer model that predicts infertility risk in women with uterine fibroids. Researchers will follow over 7,000 women aged 20-50 who want to conceive and have fibroids. The goal is to see if the model can accurately identify who might struggle to get pregnant, helping guide treatment decisions.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could help doctors better predict which women with fibroids may face infertility, leading to earlier and more personalized fertility care.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. The model may not accurately predict infertility for all women, and results may take years to confirm.
