New hope for men battling hot flashes from prostate cancer treatment

Summary

This study tests a drug called fezolinetant to see if it can reduce hot flashes in men receiving hormone therapy for prostate cancer. About 54 men will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to measure how often and how severe hot flashes are, and how they affect quality of life and sleep.
