New study aims to ease painful positioning for broken hip surgery

Summary
This study compares two types of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (S-FICB and PENG) to see which one better reduces pain when patients with a broken femur need to sit up for spinal anesthesia. About 70 adults aged 20-70 will take part. The goal is to make positioning less painful and improve comfort during and after surgery.
