First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a program run by pharmacists at community health centers can help low-income smokers quit or smoke less. About 100 adults who smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day will take part. The program offers nicotine patches or lozenges and coaching, even for those not ready to quit yet. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable.
