Breakthrough scan could spot hidden scarring in Crohn's patients

Summary
This study aims to find a better way to detect scarring in the intestines of people with Crohn's disease. Researchers will use a special dye and PET/CT scans to see active scarring, which current tests miss. The goal is to help develop new treatments that prevent permanent bowel damage. About 30 adults with Crohn's disease who are starting biologic therapy will take part.
